The Indianapolis Colts announced that six players have been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. The list includes rookies RB Marlon Mack (shoulder) and CB Quincy Wilson (pictured above – knee) who have had nice starts to their careers. The other four players determined to be out are QB Andrew Luck (shoulder), C Ryan Kelly (foot), ILB Anthony Walker (hamstring), and WR Chester Rogers (hamstring).
CB Vontae Davis (groin) practiced on a limited basis this week, but is listed as DOUBTFUL to play against the Browns. With Wilson not able to play, the secondary would benefit from Davis being on the field if he is healthy enough to play. If Davis is not available, rookie CB Nate Hairston should be next man up with CB T.J. Green rotating in.
Players listed as QUESTIONABLE include WR Kamar Aiken (hip), TE Brandon Williams (calf), DB Darius Butler (hamstring), and CB Chris Milton (hamstring). The Colts offense would benefit from Aiken being available in the continued absence of Rogers. Jacoby Brissett has the poise and confidence to take advantage of his playmakers this week. Gore’s workload will likely increase this week in Mack’s absence.
